Positioning of IFAs in three Services viz. Army, Navy and Air Force:

(i) ARMY

Dedicated IFAs in the Army HQrs. and Command Hqrs. have been posted at the level of HAG/SAG level whereas IFAs in CODs/Corps/Area/other formations have been posted at the level of JAG/STS/JTS officers as per details given below:

(ii) NAVY

IFAs at HAG level have been posted at Naval HQrs.,IFAs at SAG level posted at Western Naval Command, Southern Naval command and Eastern Naval Command. IFAs have been provided in ASDs/MS depots at Vizag, Mumbai and other formations at JAG/STS/JTS level.

(iv) OTHERS ESTABLISHMENT

IFA at CIDS HQrs. New Delhi is an HAG level officer. The SAG level officers have also been posted at HQrs. ANC, Border Road, Coast Guard, R&D, MAP, P-75 and P-Varsha to provide IFA cover to the organisations. The STS/JTS level officers have also been placed to provide IFA cover to 4 Regional HQrs. of Coast Guard and one AO has been posted to provide IFA cover to one District HQrs. of Coast Guard.
